Hailing from Jamshedpur in the state of Jharkhand, Dr. Prasenjit completed his initial schooling at Loyola High School, Jamshedpur. He moved to the prestigious Mysore Medical College and Research Institute in Karnataka for his undergraduate training in 2001.
He underwent training in surgery at St. Martha’s Hospital, Bengaluru during which he was exposed to vascular procedures and developed a keen interest in the same. Having practised as a general and laparoscopic surgeon for two years he proceeded to undertake training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Narayana Health. Post completion, he joined the Department of Peripheral Vascular Surgery at Narayana Health, Bommasandra as a consultant.
